Anderson & Sheppard is widely regarded as one of the finest soft-tailoring houses in the world, distinguished by its drape cut that allows fabric to fall naturally over the body.

The house's signature style is the English drape, characterized by a soft, lightly structured chest with extra fabric in the blade area that creates a natural drape across the torso. This approach contrasts with the more rigid, structured tailoring associated with other Savile Row houses. The cut requires exceptional skill, as the tailor must work with the natural behavior of the cloth rather than imposing shape through heavy padding and canvas. A bespoke two-piece suit starts at approximately 5,200 GBP.

Anderson & Sheppard's client list has included Prince Charles (now King Charles III), Fred Astaire, Gary Cooper, Manolo Blahnik, and Tom Ford. Fred Astaire once described the firm as producing the best suits in the world. The house holds a Royal Warrant from King Charles III.

The firm remains independently owned and operated. Its bespoke operation employs a team of in-house cutters and outworker coat makers who execute each garment by hand. Anderson & Sheppard does not produce ready-to-wear suits, maintaining an exclusively bespoke and made-to-measure operation for its suiting.
