Wedgwood is a British ceramics manufacturer founded in 1759 by Josiah Wedgwood in Burslem, Staffordshire. Josiah Wedgwood is often credited as the father of English potters, having developed innovations including jasperware, black basalt, and creamware (later called Queen's Ware after Queen Charlotte's patronage). The company played a central role in the Industrial Revolution, and its Etruria factory, built in 1769, was one of the first purpose-built pottery factories. The company's manufacturing moved to Barlaston, Staffordshire, in 1940, where production continues today.

Wedgwood's product range includes fine bone china dinnerware, jasperware, ornamental pieces, and giftware. Notable collections include Vera Wang by Wedgwood, Gio by Jasper Conran, Renaissance Gold, Arris, and the classic Florentine Turquoise. Wedgwood's jasperware, a matte unglazed stoneware developed in the 1770s, remains the company's most iconic material, recognized by its characteristic blue and white relief cameo decoration. Wedgwood is now owned by Fiskars Group, following a series of ownership changes that included a 2009 administration and subsequent acquisition by the WWRD group, which Fiskars purchased in 2015. Dinnerware ranges from approximately $30 per piece for simpler collections to over $200 per piece for premium bone china lines with precious metal accents. Collector-grade jasperware pieces and limited editions can command significantly higher prices.
