KEF is a British loudspeaker manufacturer founded in 1961 by Raymond Cooke OBE in Tovil, Maidstone, Kent, England. The company name derives from Kent Engineering and Foundry, the metal fabrication facility where Cooke first set up his loudspeaker workshop. KEF was acquired by Gold Peak Group (GP Industries) of Hong Kong in 1992 and remains under their ownership. The company maintains its engineering and design facility in Maidstone while manufacturing is split between the UK and Asia.

KEF's product line includes floor-standing and bookshelf loudspeakers, subwoofers, wireless speakers, soundbars, custom installation speakers, and headphones. The Reference and Blade series represent the flagship offerings, while the LS50 bookshelf speaker (introduced in 2012 to commemorate the company's 50th anniversary) became one of the most acclaimed compact speakers of its generation. The LS60 Wireless, launched in 2022, integrates amplification, DAC, and streaming capabilities into a floor-standing loudspeaker.
