Hennessey Special Vehicles is an American hypercar manufacturer based in Sealy, Texas, and is part of the Hennessey group founded by John Hennessey in 1991. The wider company built its reputation over three decades as Hennessey Performance Engineering, a tuner producing high-horsepower versions of American muscle cars, supercars, and trucks, before establishing a dedicated manufacturing arm for its own vehicles.

The company's first in-house car, the Venom GT, set a recorded speed of 270.49 mph in 2014. Its successor, the Venom F5, is a clean-sheet hypercar built around a carbon-fiber monocoque and powered by the in-house Fury engine, a 6.6-litre twin-turbocharged V8 producing 1,817 horsepower. The F5 program is limited to 24 coupes priced from around $2.1 million, alongside limited-run Roadster and track-focused Revolution variants at higher price points, and the company has stated its goal of exceeding 300 mph with the car.

Every Venom F5 is hand-assembled in Texas and individually specified by its owner, with carbon bodywork, bespoke interior trim, and personalized details. Hennessey also continues to produce limited-edition performance vehicles, such as the VelociRaptor truck line, through its tuning operation.

Sales are conducted directly with the factory, and the company maintains an active waiting list of collectors for its limited-production models.
